About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site CA Intermediate role based in Navi Mumbai. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining books of accounts
- Posting journal entries
- Reconciling ledgers
- Assisting in preparing financial statements
- Assisting in tax computations, GST and TDS workings
- Supporting statutory and internal audits
- Monitoring accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with budgeting and MIS reporting
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Close coordination with internal departments and external auditors for accurate financial records and timely reporting
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Basic data analysis for MIS and reporting
Qualifications
- CA Intermediate (IPCC) cleared
- Relevant articleship or industry experience
- Experience in trading, FMCG, or agri-commodity sectors is an advantage
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including journal entries, ledger posting, reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, income tax provisions, and compliance procedures
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced operational environment
