Marketing Intern

About the Role

CDM Smith is seeking an Intern to join our Corporate Marketing team, located in Boston, MA. This position will support content marketing efforts across various channels, craft collateral for new business development, and assist with marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support content marketing efforts through our website, video, email, social media, and live events.
• Help craft collateral for new business development.
• Roll up sleeves with marketing operations activities to support sales efforts and marketing campaigns.
• Research, write, and edit effective qualifications statements and proposals.
• Develop graphically oriented, compelling presentations.
• Assist with other business development and marketing initiatives, such as internal and external communication campaigns, public outreach, and strategic planning.
• Provide cross-functional generalist support for key functions: sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Gain exposure and experience in the running of a business unit within a large corporation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Enthusiasm, initiative, ability to meet deadlines, and writing skills are essential.
• Self-starter interested in contributing to various assignments across business disciplines.
• Teamwork-first approach, willing to learn and take on challenging tasks.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Fully versed in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Solid business writing and communication ability.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelors program is required.
• Interest in marketing is strongly preferred.
