  • Improve the quality of experiences developed with our components by considering visual presentation and behavior for diverse users. Integrate accessibility, thoughtful interactions, and reliable functionality into implementation and testing.
  • Enhance the usability of the design system by assisting teams in adopting shared patterns and improving examples, documentation, and workflows for confident development.
  • Leverage AI tools to explore development approaches and translate ideas into functional code. Apply critical judgment to AI-generated output, test results in context, and contribute effective approaches back to the team.

  • Experience building user interfaces and the ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Demonstrated care for visual design and user experience, with an interest in accessible interfaces and detailed interactions.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools, including providing context, evaluating and refining generated code, and verifying its intended functionality.
  • Ownership and a proactive approach to learning, completing tasks, communicating needs, and incorporating feedback.
  • Curiosity about reusable systems and the complexities of balancing diverse product requirements with shared components.
  • Interest in collaborative problem-solving with designers and engineers, contributing ideas, and understanding underlying needs.
  • Experience with design systems, prototyping, or developer tooling is a plus.
