Team Member, Pet Store

About the Role

As a Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you will be a positive, motivated, and pet-loving individual assisting in various store operations. You will be part of a team focused on making it easier for customers to get better products for their pets, offering a wide assortment of natural foods, hard goods, and pet services.

Key Responsibilities

• Cashier: Operate a cash register, scan and ring up items accurately and efficiently. Collect payments (money, check, electronic, coupons) and make correct change.
• Stocking: Unload trucks, transport merchandise to storage and salesfloors, open boxes, and ensure product availability for guests. Assist guests by carrying purchases (e.g., pet food, cat litter) to their vehicles.
• Pet Care: Provide care for pets in the store, including cleaning habitats, feeding, and handling animals.
• Guest Service: Assist guests in locating merchandise and answering questions. Provide personalized, enthusiastic guest service to pets and pet owners, greet guests, offer assistance, share pet supply knowledge, and thank them with sincere care.
• Merchandising: Assist the Store Manager in creating visually exciting displays to maximize sales and create a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Previous pet store or retail experience is welcome, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay Range

USD $14.25 - USD $19.50 /Hr.
