Retail Sales Associate/Keyholder

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service
• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face-to-face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Work both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Property Maintenance
• Perform daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintain facility by mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Keep a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (e.g., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, clean and tidy storage doors, and neat, decluttered office space).

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with a strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Compensation

• Hourly pay rate: $17.50-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.
