Retail Customer Service Cashier

About the Role

Love's Travel Stops is seeking individuals to work in a fast-paced environment as Cashiers. These roles involve maintaining clean spaces with friendly faces, providing fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. Flexibility and teamwork are important as duties may vary. No experience is required; training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• General customer service duties, including assisting customers, answering product/service questions, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register, completing customer transactions, and offering additional sales opportunities.
• Ensuring proper food safety for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
• Cleaning assigned working areas, including the sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles may be required.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
