About the Role
- As a Data Scientist Intern at HDR, you will gain real-world experience on exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your Department Manager, Section Manager, or other professionals.
- Contribute towards a variety of data science projects, performing exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development, and training.
- Develop data and generative AI solutions, including chatbots, geospatial, and geotechnical search facilities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Work with a variety of open-source and commercial software, such as Snowflake, and Azure AI services.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
- Preferred: Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer or Data Science, Data Analytics, or related degree.
- Preferred: 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to your field of study/industry.
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
