About the Role
Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a motivated Distribution Warehouse Associate to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe distribution of products to branches and customers. This role is critical for inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, customer service, and overall operational excellence in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication:
- Conduct yourself professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and management.
- Participate in branch meetings and company communications.
- Champion Ewing culture and values.
- Communicate operational and customer service concerns to management.
- Operations:
- Support inventory management activities.
- Pick, stage, ship, and receive products accurately.
- Maintain warehouse and yard organization.
- Utilize company technology and systems.
- Maintain safety and compliance standards.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Perform additional operational duties, including driving company vehicles when required.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in Ewing University and company training programs.
- Maintain Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Participate in performance reviews and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to operate powered pallet jacks and warehouse equipment.
- Ability to safely use ladders and warehouse storage systems.
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting, climbing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory and shipping activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred consideration for Bilingual (English/Spanish).
