About the Role
RS&H is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Associate to join their infrastructure team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule of in-office and remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile data.
- Assist with permit and report preparation.
- Assist with material testing.
- Complete elementary design calculations.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates.
- Prepare engineering plans.
- Perform basic design tasks utilizing engineering software and technology.
- Prepare drawings and visual aids.
- Perform as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Awareness of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
- Basic knowledge of production software.
- Passion for engineering and a willingness to grow and learn.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
