Academic Counsellor

About the Role

Universities Nation is looking for an enthusiastic Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing suitable online undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. The role involves understanding students’ academic goals, explaining course details, resolving queries, and assisting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls to understand their educational background and career goals.
• Provide academic counselling and recommend suitable online UG and PG programs.
• Explain course details, eligibility criteria, fees, program duration, and admission procedures.
• Address student queries and help them make informed decisions about their education.
• Assist students with applications, document verification, and enrollment formalities.
• Follow up with interested students and maintain regular communication throughout the admission process.
• Maintain accurate student records, lead status, and follow-up details in the CRM.
• Work towards admission targets while ensuring a positive student experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Basic understanding of student counselling, sales, or customer interaction.
• Candidates with 3–8 months of relevant experience in EdTech sales, academic counselling, or online admissions will be preferred.
• Good listening, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to learn about online higher education programs and admission processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• Freshers are welcome to apply.

Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office

Location: Sector 2, Noida

Working Days: Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday & Monday OFF)

Salary: 3 - 4LPA fixed

Immediate joiners are preferred.
