About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Tower Crane Operator role based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tower cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment as directed by site supervisors and lift plans.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections.
- Monitor crane performance.
- Follow load charts and safety procedures.
- Coordinate movements with signal personnel and ground crews.
- Maintain clear communication with site management.
- Adhere to regulatory and company safety standards.
- Report any equipment issues or hazards.
- Assist with basic crane maintenance.
- Document lifting activities.
- Support other site operations as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in lifting operations and safe load handling.
- Skills in operating heavy equipment, including tower cranes.
- Skills related to lifting equipment and proper use of rigging accessories.
- Skills in inspection of cranes and lifting equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Valid tower crane operator certification or license, in line with local regulations.
- Proven experience operating tower cranes on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of site safety protocols, load charts, and relevant standards.
- Ability to read and follow lift plans, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with site supervisors, signalers, and crew members.
- Physical ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to follow company procedures and participate in ongoing safety and skills training.
