About the Role
The Junior Architect will support architectural design and project documentation for on-site projects located in Guwahati under a contract engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in concept development.
- Preparing architectural drawings and 3D models.
- Supporting design detailing for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Coordinating with senior architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Preparing presentations, reports, and technical specifications.
- Participating in site visits, measurements, and inspections.
- Contributing to design revisions based on client feedback, regulatory requirements, and construction constraints.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Adhering to project schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
- Strong drafting and visualization capabilities.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction practices.
Qualifications
- Core Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including conceptualization, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Project Management-related skills, such as coordination with stakeholders, basic scheduling, and documentation support.
- Awareness of Software Development and Integration sufficient to work with design and BIM tools, and integrate drawings with multidisciplinary project workflows.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati.
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification.
- Internship or entry-level experience in architectural design or construction projects is preferred.
