NDT Engineers

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role for NDT Engineers based at Maharashtra Seamless Limited's facility in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on seamless and ERW steel pipes and tubes using methods such as ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, etc.
• Conduct inspections at various stages of production.
• Identify defects and ensure products meet internal specifications and customer quality requirements.
• Work closely with production and quality control teams to analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain NDT equipment.
• Document inspection reports.
• Support compliance with relevant industry standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in non-destructive testing methods such as Eddy Current and Ultrasonics.
• Skills in Inspection and Quality Control for steel pipes, tubes, or related mechanical components.
• Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams on-site in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant NDT certifications (e.g., Level II in UT, ET or equivalent) are highly desirable.
• Experience in the steel, manufacturing, or heavy engineering industry is beneficial.
