About the Role
PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time Nights Registered Nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care.
- Include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
- May perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Potential to serve as Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if applicable.
- Current BLS certification.
- Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
