(USA) Cake Decorator

About the Role

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs.
• Follows recipe measurement instructions.
• Works with a variety of products (e.g., decorating bags, tips, nozzles) to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
• Ensures adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance.
• Manages inventory.
• Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
• Demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Techie:
• Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
• Adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Owner:
• Drives the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards.
• Eliminates waste.
• Prepares for seasonal events that impact bakery volume (e.g., holidays, graduations, family events).
• Identifies member needs.
• Assists members with purchasing decisions.
• Resolves member issues and concerns.
• Talent Ambassador:
• Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member's experience in Bakery and modeling high-quality service and products.
• Interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training, developing, influencing, and inspiring them.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Minimum Qualifications:
• 6 Months' Experience In Fresh Production Area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Additional Information

• The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00.
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
