SAP APO Consultant

About the Role

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions, and facilitate deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and providing inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• Plan configuration activities, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots, and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design.
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates.
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives.
• Develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth, and increase business profitability.
• Assess current processes, identify improvement areas, and suggest technology solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• SAP APO functionalities, including DP, SNP, PP/DS, and GATP.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), Global ATP (GATP), and Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PPDS).
• Skills in debugging APO processes, resolving CIF errors, and improving system performance.
• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems.
• Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends.
• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and various pricing models.
• One or two industry domain knowledge.
• Client Interfacing skills.
• Project and Team management.

Qualifications

• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.

Note: Compatible with Oracle, MS SQL, IBM DB2, and SAP HANA (for APO on HANA). Ensure database version aligns with SAP APO product version.
