About the Role
- Position: Cybersecurity Intern – VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing)
- Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra (On-site)
- Duration: 3 Months
- Stipend: Unpaid Internship
- Experience: Freshers / Students
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) of web applications, APIs, networks, and systems.
- Identify, analyze, and document security vulnerabilities.
- Perform security testing using tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, OWASP ZAP, and Kali Linux.
- Assist in web application security testing based on OWASP Top 10.
- Support network reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing activities.
- Prepare technical vulnerability reports with remediation recommendations.
- Work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals on authorized security assessments.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and Linux.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and common vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with Kali Linux and penetration testing tools.
- Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10.
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn.
Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA students or graduates in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Freshers passionate about ethical hacking and offensive security.
- Candidates available for a full-time, on-site internship in Nagpur.
