Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and proactive Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern to support our digital presence, social media content, and online lead generation efforts. The ideal candidate should be comfortable creating content, using AI tools, managing social media accounts, and exploring digital advertising platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management
• Manage Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube accounts.
• Plan, ideate, schedule, and publish content regularly.
• Coordinate and collect photos, videos, and other media from schools and internal teams.
• Organise media assets and repurpose them for social media.
• Ensure timely execution of the social media content calendar.
• Content Creation & Editing
• Create simple social media posters, creatives, and reels using Canva and basic editing tools.
• Use AI tools to generate content ideas, captions, creatives, and videos.
• Write engaging captions and adapt content for different social media platforms.
• Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
• Assist in running Facebook/Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns.
• Explore online lead generation methods and digital marketing strategies.
• Support campaign execution, audience targeting, and performance tracking.
• Monitor basic social media and digital campaign analytics.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Familiarity with Canva, video editing tools, and AI tools.
• Basic knowledge of Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• Good communication, writing, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, experiment, and stay updated on digital trends.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Prior experience managing social media accounts or creating digital content is an added advantage.
