About the Role
This is a frontline technical position primarily responsible for supporting the sale of waterproofing products in a defined geography.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide training and briefings on waterproofing products to all stakeholders.
- Ensure quality during the application process.
- Handle customer complaints related to waterproofing products.
- Assist the frontline sales workforce in retail by creating awareness on waterproofing product features and selling points.
- Assist the sales team in handling customer complaints and product warranty queries for assigned product ranges.
- Identify and train painting and non-painting applicators (e.g., Masons, Civil Contractors) on practical application of waterproofing products at regular intervals.
- Maintain and update training records of trained applicators in the portal.
- Measure the impact of training through lead conversions.
- Brief frontend sales teams in Retail, Projects, and Services on the range of waterproofing products and their technical specifications.
- Identify key waterproofing contractors in the region and prepare engagement plans through product trainings and activations.
- Provide on-site support to top waterproofing contractors to build their confidence in product usage.
- Showcase the strengths of APL products against other market offerings during stakeholder meets and events.
- Ensure contractor participation in schemes related to various products.
- Assist Marketing and Research and Technology functions in conducting product trials and inferring APL product strength versus market products.
- Devise methods to communicate product strengths to consumers and influencers.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 50% throughout education without any backlogs.
- Graduation must be through a full-time day course.
- Desired: M.Sc. Chemistry.
- Applicants with an Engineering background (B.Tech/B.E./B.Pharma/Diploma) and MBA will not be considered.
