About the Role
Prayatna Learning Center is seeking a Middle School Teacher for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru South. The role involves teaching core subjects to middle school students, aligning lessons with academic standards and the center’s teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Assessing student progress.
- Providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining accurate records of academic performance.
- Collaborating with other educators to refine curriculum materials.
- Supporting individual learning needs.
- Communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development.
- Consistent classroom presence and active participation in school activities and meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching experience and comfort working with Middle School learners.
- Ability to manage a classroom and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including designing age-appropriate, structured, and engaging learning materials.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear instruction delivery, active listening, and regular, professional interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles and academic levels.
- Ability to use basic educational technology where needed.
- Strong organizational skills.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
- A teaching certification or diploma in education is an advantage.
