Student Assistant

About the Role

The Student Assistant role at FIRST CLAP MOTION PICTURES is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. This role supports day-to-day production activities, offering hands-on exposure to film production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules.
• Assist with shoot logistics.
• Help organize equipment and sets.
• Perform basic documentation.
• Maintain project files.
• Support communication between team members and external partners.
• Assist with script breakdowns.
• Assist with casting coordination.
• Perform basic research tasks related to ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Interest in film, media, or visual storytelling and strong motivation to learn about the production process.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and comfort working with diverse teams in a professional setting.
• Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, maintain punctuality, and adapt to changing production schedules.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in film, media studies, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to take initiative and support colleagues.

Basic familiarity with film production environments, cameras, or editing software is an advantage but not mandatory.
