About the Role
As a RoviSys Building Technologies employee, you will use the latest control and automation technologies to provide innovative solutions for clients. You will design, implement, and configure building automation systems, and/or write custom solutions. Support is provided onsite and from offices located across the globe, using cutting-edge technology to improve clients’ sustainability, profitability, efficiency, and overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop building automation systems.
- Design and develop electrical control systems that interface with facility & building management, manufacturing equipment, and sensors.
- Architect custom solutions using appropriate technologies from control databases to AI to User Interface tools.
- Provide clients with real-time data and actionable information about their facilities.
- Develop quality control system sequences and programs in accordance with established RoviSys Building Technologies and client standards.
- Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys Building Technologies, partners, and clients.
- Grow into a position of leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide quality automation and information solutions.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Relevant Co-op experience.
- Manufacturing process knowledge or building/facility management knowledge.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS), and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC).
- Familiarity with web development technologies.
- Experience in Design and Implementation of Relational/Document Databases and Historians (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo, OSIsoft).
Qualifications
- Degree in a Technical Field, related to Engineering or Systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Passionate about problem-solving and developing solutions.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
