Staff Nurse/ Senior Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients as per prescribed treatment plans.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments in accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
• Perform nursing procedures within the scope of professional competency and applicable regulations.
• Follow hand hygiene, infection control, and standard precaution protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste, sharps, and contaminated materials.
• Adhere to patient identification, fall prevention, pressure injury prevention, and other patient safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the patient care area and nursing equipment.
• Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns in accordance with hospital policy.
