About the Role
ServingMD is seeking a full-time, on-site Home Health Billing Specialist based in Model Town. This role will manage the end-to-end billing processes for home health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage claim creation, verification of patient and payer information, and accurate coding of services.
- Submit claims to payers.
- Monitor claim status.
- Resolve rejections and denials.
- Post payments and adjustments.
- Communicate with clients, payers, and internal teams to clarify billing questions, obtain required documentation, and ensure timely reimbursement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant billing regulations, payer policies, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare regular billing and revenue reports for management.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Billing Process and Client Billing for home health or similar healthcare services.
- Experience with Invoicing and basic Accounting principles related to medical billing.
- U.S. healthcare billing guidelines, insurance payer rules, and compliance standards.
- Practice management or billing software and standard office productivity tools.
Qualifications
- Effective Communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately with high volumes of data and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in home health billing, medical billing, or revenue cycle management preferred.
