Associate Consultant, Air Quality

About the Role

Ramboll is seeking an Air Quality Associate to join their offices in Los Angeles or Irvine, California, or Phoenix, Arizona. This is an entry-level position within the Air & Climate Service Line of Ramboll’s Environment & Health Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing emissions calculations.
• Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control.
• Assisting in preparing major and minor source permit applications and environmental impact reports.
• Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a science degree with air quality coursework.
• Strong computing skills, including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret environmental regulations.
• Database and GIS skills are preferred but not required.

• Ability to work in a team and apply analytical skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
