About the Role
Join Chambliss Center for Children as a Teacher Assistant Part-Time. This role offers a convenient "Parent" Shift, allowing for summers and holidays off, and work hours aligned with school schedules. The position is located at East Side Elementary.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children during all activities.
- Help plan and lead fun, learning-based activities.
- Keep the classroom clean and organized.
- Work closely with other staff, parents, and volunteers.
- Watch for children’s health needs and respond appropriately.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be 18 or older.
- At least a high school diploma or GED.
- Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm or 11am-2pm.
Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood education is a plus.
- Team player with a love for working with children and families.
Starting pay: From $11/hour with a high school diploma and limited experience. Starting pay increases based on education and classroom experience.
