About the Internship

Thinknova is looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in Cybersecurity and Information Security. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, network security, threat detection, and security operations through hands-on projects covering both offensive and defensive cybersecurity practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and systems.
• Perform basic vulnerability assessments and authorized penetration testing activities.
• Monitor security alerts, analyze potential threats, and support incident investigation.
• Explore ethical hacking techniques, network security, and defensive security practices.
• Assist in analyzing security logs and identifying suspicious activities.
• Work with cybersecurity tools for vulnerability scanning, traffic analysis, and threat detection.
• Prepare security assessment reports and document findings.
• Collaborate with team members on assigned cybersecurity projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and information security concepts.
• Familiarity with computer networks, operating systems, and internet security.
• Knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP, firewalls, and basic security protocols is an advantage.
• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or OWASP ZAP is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and security operations.
• Interest in penetration testing, SOC operations, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Internship Details: 3 Months Duration, Remote Work Mode, Stipend Up to ₹10,000 (Performance-Based)
