About the Role
The AI Operations Strategist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, focused on integrating AI-driven solutions into core construction and infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing existing processes.
- Identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Designing AI workflows to support project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineering teams, and leadership to translate business needs into AI use cases.
- Overseeing data collection and quality.
- Monitoring performance of deployed models.
- Preparing clear documentation, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights.
- Supporting change management.
- Ensuring AI initiatives align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in working with data (e.g., data collection, basic data cleaning, interpreting metrics, creating dashboards and reports).
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or data analytics tools and platforms.
- Understanding of how to apply AI, ML, or data analytics to real-world business operations.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess operational workflows and identify AI-driven improvements.
- Knowledge of process optimization, operations management, or project management principles, preferably within construction or infrastructure domains.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Ability to present findings to stakeholders at different levels.
- Comfort with on-site work environments, including occasional visits to project sites to understand operational contexts and constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors, or in implementing digital transformation or AI initiatives, is highly beneficial.
