About the Role
This is a fixed-term, contractual role for AI Data Annotators focusing on transcription work. The role is fully remote. It involves detailed, focused tasks requiring careful attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Listening to audio and analyzing transcripts based on provided guidelines.
- Writing in lowercase.
- Adding appropriate tags for filled pauses and backchannels.
- Identifying and correcting mis-transcriptions.
- Ensuring every word is transcribed correctly.
- Listening to audio and checking transcripts against spoken content.
- Correcting missing or extra words.
- Correcting transcription errors.
- Applying detailed annotation guidelines consistently across large volumes of work.
- Flagging unclear audio.
- Flagging edge cases.
- Flagging content not covered by the guidelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- A laptop or desktop computer (work cannot be done on a phone or tablet).
- Headphones.
- A quiet environment.
- Strong English writing and comprehension.
- Ability to read detailed guidelines and understand subtle differences in wording.
Qualifications
- Prior AI annotation experience in Transcription or a relevant field is required.
- A good ear for language.
Training and guidelines are provided.
Compensation
- Fixed monthly salary beginning from INR 25,000 to 35,000 depending on the scope and quality of work.
