About the Role

Stoneman Hyderabad is a specialized stone and marble contracting company focused on high-quality installation for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the Hyderabad region. This is a full-time, on-site Marble Setter role based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Measuring and marking surfaces.
• Cutting and shaping marble tiles and slabs.
• Installing marble on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to project specifications.
• Preparing surfaces.
• Mixing and applying adhesives or mortar.
• Aligning and leveling marble pieces.
• Grouting joints.
• Performing polishing and finishing work.
• Handling materials safely.
• Using hand and power tools (cutters, grinders, polishers).
• Following design layouts.
• Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Following all safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a clean work area.
• Supporting efficient use of materials on site.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in marble or tile setting, including measuring, cutting, and installing stone materials.
• Ability to read basic drawings or layout plans and follow technical instructions on site.
• Skilled in using relevant hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for alignment, leveling, joint finishing, and overall workmanship quality.
• Good physical stamina, ability to lift and move stone materials, and work for extended periods on site.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices and willingness to use protective equipment consistently.
• Basic communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and team members.
• Prior experience in construction, masonry, or stonework is highly desirable; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related trade is an added advantage.
