About the Role
Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) is seeking a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer to join their team in Raleigh, NC.
Key Responsibilities
- Use computer-assisted design/drafting for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB).
- Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings).
- Utilize knowledge of dimensional tolerancing, PCB manufacturing capabilities, and design for manufacturing checks.
- Resolve technical responses from PCB manufacturing deviations.
- Update Customer Application notes and Engineering Standards.
- Set up and maintain an organized file system for production drawings.
- Communicate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering regarding new and revised designs.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience with Cadence Allegro or Altium required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Additional skills include technical capacity, communication proficiency, problem solving/analysis, and the ability to collaborate as a member of a team.
