About the Role
This position resides within Bloom’s Stack Process Engineering team, responsible for developing, characterizing, and improving the processes used to manufacture and test solid oxide fuel cells. The role is based in Fremont, California, and is a fully on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, characterize, document, and release new processes into manufacturing.
- Improve yield and throughput performance of existing processes.
- Enable manufacturing to meet production goals through direct line support and analysis.
- Collaborate with equipment engineering, supplier quality, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing personnel to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related discipline in engineering or physical science.
- Must be graduating between May 2024 and August 2025.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for a minimum of 30 minutes. The ability to navigate congested production areas is also required.

- Experience within a manufacturing or process environment.
- Hands-on aptitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate abstract ideas.
Salary Range: $86,100.00 - $123,900.00
