Community Engagement Liaison

About the Role

The Community Engagement Liaison is a full-time, on-site role based in Cockrell Hill, TX. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local organizations, schools, and community groups to increase awareness of Planet Dental and Orthodontics and its services.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and attending community events.
• Coordinating outreach activities.
• Distributing educational materials.
• Representing the practice at local health fairs and neighborhood initiatives.
• Interacting with current and prospective patients.
• Responding to inquiries.
• Supporting a positive patient experience through excellent communication and customer service.
• Collaborating closely with office leadership and clinical teams to align community engagement efforts with practice goals and patient needs.

• Experience or familiarity with dental care or community-based health support.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on-site and travel locally for events.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare, dental, or nonprofit community work preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or related field is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly beneficial.
