About the Role
The Interior Design 2D Draughtsman Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. In this position, the intern prepares detailed 2D technical drawings and plans for interior projects under the guidance of senior designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate design concepts into accurate drawings.
- Update and revise layouts.
- Ensure documentation aligns with project requirements and quality standards.
- Coordinate drawing sets with the design team.
- Support material and layout changes.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project files.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong Drawing and Technical Drawing skills.
- Skills in Engineering Drawings and Architectural Drawings.
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating and modifying detailed 2D interior layouts.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Familiarity with design tools is preferred.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and materials is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow guidelines.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Relevant academic background in interior design, architecture, or a related discipline is an advantage.
