About the Role

As an Owner Intern, you will support the founding team by driving day-to-day operational, strategic, and product-related tasks in a remote environment. This is an internship role designed for individuals who want hands-on exposure to early-stage edtech operations and ownership-driven responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with structuring and documenting processes.
• Coordinate with institutional partners.
• Gather feedback from faculty and students to refine platform features.
• Contribute to product roadmaps.
• Track key performance metrics.
• Help prioritize initiatives that improve user experience and adoption.
• Support market research, competitor analysis, and outreach activities to expand OptiGrit’s presence across campuses.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Organizational and project management skills, including task prioritization, time management, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Communication and collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication and comfort working in cross-functional, remote teams.
• Basic understanding of technology and digital tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and contribute to product and process improvements.
• Growth mindset, initiative, and a strong interest in education, edtech, or building early-stage products and companies.
• Relevant experience through academic projects, student leadership, campus initiatives, or internships in operations, product, or strategy is beneficial.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in business, engineering, education, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
