Store Associate (Full Time)

About the Role

Store Associates keep Lidl stores running strong, delivering a fast, customer-focused experience. This is a dynamic, 'all-hands' role where your impact is visible every hour. You’ll support daily operations, from checkout and stocking to bakery, produce, and promotional setups, all in one shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service.
• Transition between checkout, stocking, and specialized areas (bakery, produce) to meet store needs.
• Meet productivity goals by working with urgency and following Lidl’s processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
• Execute daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
• Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Operate the register quickly and accurately, memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
• Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues.
• Adhere to inventory control measures to ensure accurate inventory and low stock-loss.
• Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team to complete daily tasks and ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs. and reach above head height frequently.
