Junior Operations Trainee (Granite Processing)

About the Role

A.N.T. Mines is seeking fresh Polytechnic Diploma holders for a training opportunity at its granite processing unit. This role is designed for individuals aiming to acquire hands-on industrial experience, develop practical technical skills, and build a career in manufacturing and operations. Selected candidates will receive on-the-job training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the granite processing unit.
• Learn about granite cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing processes.
• Assist in checking product dimensions, surface finish, and visible defects.
• Learn to monitor machinery and equipment under guidance.
• Maintain basic production, material movement, and stock records.
• Coordinate with production staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
• Update daily production reports and operational records.

Qualifications

• Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical, Production Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Freshers preferred; 2025 & 2026 passouts will be considered.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Excel would be an advantage.
• Interest in machinery, manufacturing processes, and technical operations.
• Willingness to learn and work in an industrial environment.
• Good communication, discipline, and a positive attitude.
