Sr. STRUCTURE DESIGNER

SOIGNE ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS

Key Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures
• Structural modelling and analysis of buildings and other structures
• Preparation of structural design calculations and design reports
• Design of foundations, columns, beams, slabs and other structural elements
• Preparation and review of structural drawings and detailing
• Development of structural design schemes and engineering solutions
• Coordination of structural design with architectural and MEP requirements
• Technical review of drawings, designs and project documentation
• Technical coordination and proof checking with client teams (project based short duration travelling may be involved)
• Ensuring designs comply with applicable Indian Standards, codes and project requirements

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong understanding of RCC and steel structural design
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and modelling
• Strong understanding of foundation design
• Strong understanding of seismic design and structural dynamics
• Strong understanding of structural detailing and constructability
• Proficiency in relevant IS Codes and Indian Standards
• STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD (preferred)
• Revit Structure / BIM (knowledge is an added advantage)

Qualifications

• M.Tech. / M.E. in Civil Engineering with specialisation in Structural Engineering / Structural Design only
• Core Competency: Structural Design should be the candidate’s primary area of technical expertise.
• Preference will be given to candidates from premier/reputed engineering institutions.
• Candidates with relevant professional experience in structural analysis, design and engineering consultancy will be preferred.
• Fresh M.Tech. graduates with strong fundamentals and good academic/project credentials may also apply.
