Key Responsibilities
- Write SQL queries to insert, update, fetch and analyze data in MySQL databases.
- Design simple database tables, relationships and schemas with guidance from the team.
- Optimize slow queries and improve database performance using indexes and better query logic.
- Create views, stored procedures and basic functions for reporting needs.
- Clean, validate and migrate data between tables and databases.
- Prepare data extracts and reports for the team using SQL and Excel.
- Maintain data accuracy, document database structures and track changes.
- Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE, subqueries)
- MySQL or any relational database
- Database concepts (primary keys, foreign keys, normalization)
- Indexes and query performance
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Written and spoken English communication
- Good to Have: Stored procedures, triggers, views
- Good to Have: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB
- Good to Have: Excel or Power BI
- Good to Have: Any SQL course, certification or project experience
Qualifications
- Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), M.Sc or any related field.
- Freshers interested in building a career in database development.
- Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
