About the Role

• Full-Time, Day Shift position in the Shipping department.
• Requires cross-training in Warehouse, Inventory, and Seed Packing departments.
• Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
• Starting pay: $17.51 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping, Warehouse, and Inventory Functions

• Cross-train to perform various Shipping, Warehouse, and Inventory functions.
• Locate incoming materials in designated stockrooms.
• Utilize inventory systems to find, move, and organize materials.
• Perform shrink-wrapping and labeling of products.
• Assist with receiving activities, including sampling and labeling.
• Support cycle-counting activities by locating and weighing inventory.
• Report problems or shortages to supervisors or leads.
• Support daily order fulfillment by gathering, verifying, packing, shipping, and stocking materials.
• Use handheld devices to accurately pick and track inventory.
• Prepare inventory for shipment.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Maintain a balanced work area by working quickly and accurately.
• Keep the work environment clean and safe.

Seed Packing Functions

• Pack seed in commercial and consumer quantities using available manual and mechanical equipment.
• Work at a stationary workstation, performing repetitive tasks.
• Follow established processes and detailed instructions.
• Assemble kits and products.
• Process commercial bulk seed orders weighing 50–70 pounds.
