About the Role
AlphaBEST Education is looking for an Early Learning Professional to serve as a Before and After School Group Leader Substitute. This role involves working with children in a structured, high-energy environment, prioritizing child safety, and being flexible and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
- Make child safety the top priority at all times.
- Keep the space clean and organized.
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
- 18+ years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
- Must be registered (or become registered) and have full clearance from the AZ childcare licensing agency.
- Six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (hours may vary).
- No weekends.
