Senior Connectivity & Network Engineer

About the Role

This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in:

• Standards and protocols
• Application software and embedded software for wireless and satellite networks, fixed networks, and enterprise networks
• Connected devices (IoT and device engineering)
• Connected applications (5G/edge, B2X apps)
• Telco Cloud, Automation, and Edge Compute platforms
• Integration of network systems and their operations related to the above technologies.

This is a fully competent role in its own area, acting as a key contributor in a more complex or critical environment. The role requires proactive action to understand and anticipate client needs, manage costs and profitability for a work area, manage one's own agenda to meet agreed targets, develop plans for projects in one's own area, and look beyond the immediate problem to wider implications. The role also involves acting as a facilitator and coach, and moving teams forward.
