About the Role

The Volunteer will support solution architecture activities. This is a full-time remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis of business requirements.
• Document technical specifications.
• Help design system components.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify needs.
• Research appropriate technologies.
• Prepare diagrams and documentation.
• Contribute to implementation plans under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in virtual meetings.
• Update project trackers.
• Provide clear status reports.
• Maintain consistent online availability and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of solution architecture concepts, including system design, integration, and scalability.
• Basic knowledge of software development or IT infrastructure (e.g., cloud platforms, databases, APIs) is strongly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a remote, multicultural environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time and tasks independently in a full-time remote setting.
• Relevant coursework or experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage, but not strictly required.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and methodologies, and take direction from senior solution architects.
