About the Role

Ask Me is a growing digital media company focused on creating engaging, informative, and entertaining video content. This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor – Tamil.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content in Tamil.
• Integrate audio, music, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
• Collaborate with content creators and scriptwriters.
• Ensure video outputs match brand guidelines.
• Refine pacing, flow, and visual storytelling.
• Manage multiple projects and organize raw media files.
• Prepare final exports optimized for various digital platforms.
• Review feedback and make revisions promptly.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve overall content quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
• Ability to work with audio, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
• Understanding of digital content formats, social media platforms, and audience-focused storytelling.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of Tamil (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Good proficiency in English for collaboration and documentation.
• Prior experience as a video editor, especially in Tamil-language content, is highly beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is a plus, though equivalent experience is also valued.
