About the Role

The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Artyss Design Studio’s Bengaluru location.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing concept designs.
• Planning layouts.
• Selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with client requirements and project budgets.
• Meeting with clients to understand their needs.
• Preparing mood boards and presentations.
• Creating detailed drawings.
• Coordinating with vendors and contractors during implementation.
• Performing site visits.
• Reviewing construction progress.
• Updating design documentation.
• Ensuring that all design solutions are functional, safe, and aligned with the studio’s quality standards.
• Collaborating with the design team to maintain consistency in project delivery and client experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional and visually appealing layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings to translate concepts into accurate technical documentation.
• Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and custom design solutions.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of 3D visualization tools.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple residential projects concurrently.
• Experience in residential interior projects in Bengaluru or similar urban settings is an advantage.
