About the Role
The Inspection Engineer role at Revista Engineering is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves planning and executing inspections for electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and installations to verify compliance with technical specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute inspections for electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and installations.
- Verify compliance with technical specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
- Perform and document testing procedures.
- Analyze test results.
- Prepare clear inspection reports and recommendations.
- Coordinate with project teams and clients.
- Support quality control activities.
- Identify non-conformities.
- Follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Electrical Engineering knowledge relevant to inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
- Mechanical Engineering knowledge for evaluating mechanical components, systems, and assemblies.
- Proficiency in Testing activities, including planning tests, using measurement instruments, and interpreting technical data.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work safely on-site and interact with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Strong Quality Control and Inspection skills, with experience applying standards and procedures in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience in inspection, quality assurance, or testing within engineering projects in Mumbai or similar industrial environments is an advantage.
