About the Role

Avisa IVF & Fertility Center is a specialized medical facility focused on providing comprehensive fertility care. This is a full-time, on-site Fertility Doctor role based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
• Request and interpret diagnostic tests related to infertility and reproductive health.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on test results.
• Oversee procedures such as ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and related assisted reproductive techniques.
• Closely monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed.
• Coordinate care with embryologists, nurses, and other clinical staff.
• Provide counseling on treatment options, risks, and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure adherence to clinical and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical research activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Completed postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB/DGO) in Obstetrics & Gynecology or related specialty.
• Formal training or fellowship in Reproductive Medicine, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), or Infertility Management.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and management of infertility, including hormonal evaluation, ultrasound monitoring, and interpretation of reproductive investigations.
• Hands-on experience with ART procedures such as controlled ovarian stimulation, IUI, IVF, ICSI, and embryo transfer.
• Strong counseling and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and compliance with local regulatory standards.
• Comfort with using electronic medical records and basic digital tools.
• Willingness to participate in continuing medical education, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Fluency in English and local languages used in Mumbai is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on clinical needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an IVF or fertility center is strongly preferred.
