Financial Analyst Intern

About the Role

The Financial Analyst Intern will support the finance and consulting teams by assisting with financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis to inform strategic recommendations for clients. This is a remote internship role, offering flexible collaboration with team members in virtual settings and exposure to real-world consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Work with financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).
• Prepare reports and dashboards.
• Conduct market and industry research.
• Help evaluate business performance across consulting, technology, and media projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and verify assumptions.
• Translate insights into concise presentations and internal documentation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Finance knowledge, including familiarity with core financial concepts and corporate finance principles.
• Skills in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting, with the ability to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing structured reports.
• Experience working with Financial Statements.
• Robust Analytical Skills, including quantitative analysis and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Basic presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) - preferred.

Qualifications

• Coursework in finance, accounting, economics, or business - beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail - beneficial.
• Interest in consulting, startups, and technology-driven businesses - preferred.
