Software Quality Assurance Intern

About the Role

The Software Quality Assurance Intern will support the testing and validation of LetsAlgoit’s trading and automation platforms in a remote internship role.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases.
• Document test results.
• Assist in identifying, reproducing, and tracking software defects.
• Collaborate with engineers and product team members to understand feature requirements.
• Verify quality standards.
• Contribute to regression and functional testing activities.
• Analyze product behavior.
• Suggest improvements to test coverage.
• Learn best practices in software quality assurance within a fintech and trading infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational skills in Software Quality and Quality Assurance, with an interest in learning industry-standard testing practices.
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify patterns, and support data-driven quality decisions.
• Skills in Software Quality Assurance and Test Cases, including writing, organizing, and executing manual test scenarios.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC) is beneficial.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools, version control, or test management systems is an advantage.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• An interest in financial markets, trading systems, or fintech products is a plus.
