About the Role
The Travel Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Viman Nagar, Pune. The role involves consulting with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and expectations, and designing tailored itineraries and experiences aligned with Travel LYKKE’s experiential and sustainable travel philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand travel preferences, budgets, and expectations.
- Design tailored itineraries and experiences aligned with Travel LYKKE’s philosophy.
- Manage end-to-end travel arrangements.
- Handle reservations.
- Provide accurate destination information.
- Respond to client inquiries across various channels.
- Coordinate with local partners and service providers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends and regulations.
- Support sales targets through excellent customer service and follow-up.
Training & Compensation
- Training: 2 months (probation period)
- Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to design and oversee customized itineraries.
- Proficiency in handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including transportation, accommodation, and activities.
- Strong Customer Service abilities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality support.
- Knowledge of sustainable and experiential travel practices and interest in promoting responsible tourism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex travel options clearly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Comfort working with booking platforms, CRM tools, and basic office software.
- Prior experience in the travel or hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Relevant education in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory when supported by strong practical experience.
